ThinkingChickens
Eek. I don't think I've ever seen a fox, except at the zoo. Here it's the evil raccoons and some snakes that torment the neighbors yard. Strangely our yard must smell bad because so far we are free of both! mollyripkim
Wow, he is really handsome but the last thing you want to see on your chicken house. I bet you are worried he will come back, do yours FR.
Ain't Nobody Here
Lovely animal to watch but thank goodness for your good security .
Sam
Wow that was lucky I just saw your other video of it biting your foot Do foxes usually try harder to get into things? Here I am worrying about slabs, reinforcing the wire etc and that fox just gave up! Great video though
Seagazer
I too think they're beautiful animals, we have lots around here, but they'd better not get my girls. Good video and I love all the trees/bushes around your run.
Henchanted
WOW.... brazen foxy, the WIR is obviously too much of a challenge (that time ) As scary as that is to see for a chicken-keeper, Mr or Mrs Fox is quite beautiful, and I like the other toe nipping video too. Thanks for sharing it
Dodge
It looks like a lot of you liked my video of a fox on my chicken run. If you would like to see my other video of a fox biting my foot, then here is the link: Hope you enjoy this one as well
beach chick
he's a beautiful creature, and the foot-biting is very funny, especially your reaction but they do need controlling - bring back hunting I say I'm afraid. I watched a very handsome fox in a field on Sunday morning, bounding through long grass towards a pond, and then back towards the flock of freshly-sheared sheep in same field. luckily there were no lambs, as the dog and I were too far away to have done anything.... as for urban foxes - waaaay too cocky. Seagazer
Did it hurt when he bit your foot? I have to say it is a rather gorgeous fox. I'd rather not have fox hunting, I definitely think there is a huge fox problem but would prefer that they were dealt with in a more sensitive way. Don't ask me how? Poisoning could cause problems for other wildlife.
