emmastar Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 (edited) Hi here are some of the pics of my fluffybuts They are 4 weeks old just gone and im wondering if you can tell if they are boys or girls yet ?? poppy mimi elle perdi This little cutie was given to me and i have no idea what it is a cross between silkie x ???? any guesses and boy / girl ? And finaly a pic of fransis i wont be able to tell what this little silkie is for ages but i needed to post a pic as its pure cuteness Looking at the marans they do apear to get quite large headgear even for a lady so im stumped on the 2 i have . emmastar Posted June 23, 2011 Author Share Posted June 23, 2011 Hi again , I need to get some new pics up of the chicks they all have a nice coat of feathers and are now enjoying the eglu and grass , Poppy my French Copper Black Maran who looks very maleish dosenot have the copper neck like the pics say he will have , when dose this arive ? will he shead this first lot of feathers and they turn copper or will he stay all black like he is now with copper hints through the black ? A tip I learned from my grandparents: If a chick has a short, stubby tail, It's more than likely going to be a cockerel If a chick has a longish tail (not short and stubby) its more than likely a hen PS.
