Recommended Posts

I would value your ideas on the sex of these chicks please.

4wk old pekin/wyandotte I think she is a girl  and quite pretty!

9wk old Wyandotte. This the one I thought was a boy when little then a girl, now I am back to boy! :?: Two pictures of the same chick! I am hoping its a girl, but can't commit.

This is my boy 9wk old pekin/wyandotte, no doubts here! He has been making some screechy 'crowing' sound and is quite feisty.

9wk old Wyandotte. My girl  She does look very similar to number 2 but with smaller wattles. Two pics of her

I'm not sure about number four. With other boys in the flock, some are not going to be as well developed as others, which is why if it is a boy it hasn't got as much head gear as the other two. I expect once those two boys are out of the way he or she will show their true colours

i would say keep an eye on the 1st one that one looks like its hiding its gender

iv had it so many times where i think ones a pullet/hen then as soon as i take my cockerel out it starts to man up

i still say what i said before

1st(could be a cockerel masking as a pullet)

2nd cockerel

3rd cockerel

4th id say pullet
