Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi does anyone know if you can get refills for this please? Even in my small garden it worked really well, but have now cleaned it out and don't seem to be able to find refills. Thanks

I think you bin the lot and start again

there is one trap that uses plastic milk or juice bottle were you replace the bottle but I've not been able to find the replacement bait.mine didn't come with any instructions

You can buy fly bait refills here Here I suspect they are all pretty similar.

The one I have is completely disposable and I'm glad it is as once its full of hundreds of flies and maggots it smells like a dead body. (or what I imagine a dead body to smell like from reading too many Wallander crime novels)

 

I haven't put another one up yet as I wanted to see what the current fly situation is like - we had a lot in the spring

Many thanks, not too many flies at the moment but want to keep on top of it. There were lots in Spring which is why I got the red top originally.

I'd just chuck it and replace to be honest. I once emptied a Flitrap, which is similar, and the smell was absolutely indescribable. Worse than anything I have ever smelt, before or since.
