Aunty e
So I know Omlet have them from time to time, and as I only want a cube, not a run, I'm thinking it might make financial sense to see if I can get my mits on one. So does anyone know who to contact at Omlet? I'm happy to wait, eBay prices are silly at the moment, the only one even slightly near to me went for £450, and by the time I factor in petrol costs etc, I might as well just buy a new one (which could go on the credit card and get free delivery). It's either that or I continue spraying the house every week (and I can still see red mite every time I open up the nesting boxes) and wait until the autumn when hopefully ebay prices will be less silly. Egluntyne
Just ring the shop tomorrow, they will be able to direct your enquiry to the right person.
poppy ben grace
Hi, Not sure if you have seen the advert but omlet will give you £50 off the price of a new cube, all you have to do is email a picture of your old wooden coop. Hope you get sorted ,its a nightmare really, especially as omlet have recently increased the price of a stand alone cube!
Bramble
I was in your position a while ago ... I kept checking the Omlet website to see if they had any reconditioned cubes available (if there are any, it shows up under the "new" price). Then I emailed Omlet and asked if they had any, they replied and said no ... but within about two hours of me receiving that email there were several standalone Cubes available in Omlet marketplace being sold by Omlet, so I snaffled one quickly. Whether there was a connection between my email and the Cubes appearing on the website,I don't know, but I think the moral is, just keep looking, even if Omlet say they don't have any!? Good luck
Patricia W
I just phoned one Monday on the off chance and was offered one there and then. So I think I'd phone. I was told that it was likely my reconditioned one was a display model used at shows - whatever it was, it was absolutely pristine. Good luck! Patricia W
Congratulations! Now the important question- what colour?
Aunty e
Green. If I'd bought one new I was going to try to get purple or pink for a giggle, but I'm just so relieved to have the girls back in plastic. Still want a yellow Go at some point though
