Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

my little boy just found our first egg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

he opened the door to the girls house and said "mama an egg, shes been hiding it!" i thought he was fibbing cos for the last few weeks we have been opening up the house and saying "no egg yet" but when i looked he really had seen an egg!

 

well i managed to get about 10 pics of it before he really wanted to see inside so i cracked it and guess what...A DOUBLE FLIPPIN YOKER!!!!!!

 

this is the best day of my (hen keeping) life!!

 

am i very very sad, i def did the egg dance too! !

Great double yokers can I ask why the neighbours can get lost?? seems a strange way to tell us you got ayour first egg and a double Yoker to boot
