KimmyCustard
Marge had her bumper bit fitted on Monday, she was very cross but I didnt take it off and she has learnt to eat and drink with it on. Next question is: do I treat Pixie and Bertha for bum baldness? Their skin is a little red after the pecking, is there anything I can rub on their bald patches to help stimulate new growth and to protect any temptation of feather pecking by the others? Do I feed them anything extra to help with feather growth, I've given them poultry tonic in their water and I cant find anything when searching specific to replacing feathers after pecking Thank you for your sound advice so far......... The Dogmother
I've used that too and found it to be good. If they have sore looking skin, then apply some of the Johnson's tea tree cream, you can get it from most pet stores.
