Unsecure chicken perches

Current owner found them too hard work, so I am taking them in, apparently healthy (vet is going to check them over 1st, I collect from him)

I was not planning on more as yet.

I'm down to 4 (from original 7) but they are looking very healthy ( fingers crossed tightly) and each lay an egg a day. They are SOOO friendly. My only complaint about them is that one is a feather eater - but only for Phillip the cockerel's long flowing locks! Even a bumpa bit hasn't deterred her so he's now locked away from her!

 

We've now had 2 of them for over a year, and the second pair will be reaching their henniversary in September. I find them so rewarding that I can't imagine anyone giving up on them. Keep us posted.
