5 a day for chickens

Recommended Posts

Gosh Clare

Will have to go down town more often.

Did go down for a kebab last night, and it was like being in a time warp, four punks outside the kebab shop at 6 p.m. And I mean dressed up, bondage tartan trousers and big red monhicans, made them look like chickens. (giggle), I think my obession is getting worse

And thanks would love to meet your brood, we will p.m. on that

I also have a Sadie, but she is the youngest dog, also known as Sadie-Babie, and the Babe.

Have a good morning at work, our AC is broken, and the only good part is that the IT lads are threatening to wear speedos ! ! ! I said might cool them down, but would do nothing for my blood pressure !

Hi Clare

No, not in town. By the motorway junction. So it can be fun getting home, have to dodge the Prodrive boys using the road as a race track, and don't get me on the subject of traffic off the motorway (got hit last November on the roundabout by a white van man who had just come off the motorway junction). We have been known to take it in turns to go to the top of the building and look out of the windows to gage the build up of traffic, and what time we all think we should go home

umm not sure whether to say this, but the air conditiong is working well, almost too well, I need a pullover...

Anyway you are lucky, you can walk to get an ice cream or a sandiwch, or even a quick pimms at the is it Horse and Jockey or Horse and Groom, nearly always get my pubs wrong. What do I have, a three minute if lucky drive to the Pepperpot or the Esso garage, not culinary highlights (grin)

The Horse and Jockey is nearly opposite our office, but it's not too nice. I go home for lunch instead. Poor you with all that traffic - when I moved up here, I spent 8 years driving to and from either Oxford, Eynsham or Woodford and had my share of eejits shunting me - glad I don't have to do it any more.

Hi Clare

Gosh, I would be on my knees by about Tuesday if I had to do any of those commutes.

Am like you I go home to all the girls at lunch. Its my sunlight shaft of sanity in a mad day at work. Reminds me of why I do it and keep on doing it.

Having been in the Horse and Jockey for, well more years than I care to remember. Actually, haven't been in a pub since before Christmas not sure what that says.

Is it McKenchies (sorry cannot read my own writing) on Saturday ?

And my manners are awful, how are all your family ? Youngest dog got a bit hot on Saturday, she was panting was is a rare rare thing for her.

We're fine thanks Cherryl. Yes, we'll be at the market in Stratford; 8.30am or thereabouts in McKechnies - we'll be the noisy ones! If you look at my album, you'll see some photos to recognise me by, although I don't look much like that at that time on a Saturday morning! Let me know if you'd like to come with us, I'd be happy to give you a lift if you like. We'd love to see you there.
