mart2584
I had to take Myrtle to the vet on Friday as she was not herself so the vet asked me if I had recently wormed her, i said yes with vermex he said you can try flubenvet as she looked like it was either worms or she has an enlarged liver he thinks, so my question is where can i get this stuff. Clairey_Fairy
Hi, This is where I got mine from, cheapest I could find (even cheaper than buyiny it direst from my sister who is a vet!) and free delivery. http://www.medicanimal.com/product/~flubenvet-1-medicated-premixture/~product_id=10127?recommendation=Y
LolaLayla
I get mine already in the layers pellets from Marriages. It costs more but I feel happier knowing that they are getting the medication.(You feed it to them for 7 days). Good luck.
percy049
Dont they only have big bags of the pre-medicated pellets though?
LolaLayla
They have 10kg bags which is actually more that I need but I still feel happier knowing that they are getting the right dose. As a company they were very helpful.
Lavenders_Blue
As you only have three hens I'd recommend getting the powder and mixing it into your usual feed. It's dead easy really, all you need are some scales to weigh the feed out, a large bowl for mixing and a spoon. You weigh out 2kg of feed, add 1 scoop flubenvet powder and mix like crazy! mart2584
Heys guys Thanks for the replies I got some from Sales of Sandon Heygates pellets with Flubenvet mixed in all for just over a tenner and they do it on its own over the counter as well very good service. I picked it up earlier and now have got it in their grub so mash next and we will see
The Dogmother
You need to keep them in the run as much as possible for the 7 days and not feed them anything else but the medicated feed.
