bronze Posted June 6, 2007 Share Posted June 6, 2007 Can rats chew through chicken mesh? I ask because I have rats in my compost bin. Only since I've moved it though. I've just bought three more bins and heard that if you put mesh underneath they cant burrow up. I want to do this with the three new ones and I'll start filling them instead then when the old one is empty I will do the same with that. I just want to make sure the wire is tough enough as I don't want to do it and spend money to discover they can get straight through it.
