Melbourne12
It's taken two months in the execution, but "Project Chicken Keeping" has finally delivered results. We picked up four Ixworths yesterday. Pictures and story here http://bit.ly/rkFlA9 Edited August 23, 2011 by Guest
Chucky Mama
Lovely They will get used to the treadle feeder I would check them for lice or other crawlies just to make sure the feather loss is not caused by anything nasty

Melbourne12
Lovely chickens are you planning on hatching some babies? We are indeed - I hope that's not too ambitious, since we're completely new to keeping chickens! The breeder that we bought them from suggested to leave it until March or April next year before trying to hatch any eggs, to give the birds the best start in the warm weather next spring.
