Chicken boarders

All is good - I'm so thankful the storm wasn't so powerful. The weather guys take a lot of criticism for their predictions but I'd rather be over prepared than surprised by a hurricane.

 

I posted some photos of the chicken refugee camp and the near miss with a tree over here...now the clean-up begins.

And one man's storm is another chickens playground - the girls are loving free ranging in all the fallen leaves and branches - I'm guessing all the bugs and caterpillas got knocked out of the trees?

phew. Glad it's only minor stuff - that branch could have caused more damage!

Yes, I should imagine a lot of bugs got blown out of the trees - happy hunting chooks! x
