A few questions about delivery!

Recommended Posts

How exciting ..You won't regret it :) I have 2 GNR and 1 PP from them and I waited 4 weeks , but it was well worth it as they are gorgious girls and they get on really well together (No fighting)

I think that they make sure they get on before they deliver.

I bet you are nervous , I was but there is no need as there is always someone on here willing to help out.

Good luck and welcome. :D

Hi

I took the plunge last weekend and ordered our hens and eglu from omlet. They called me on the Monday to give me the date when they were next in my area and had a space which was in 3 weeks time. I had been told originally they were really booked up so was expecting a 4 week wait til my hennies arrive!

One week down, two to go! Hope they are able to squeeze you in sooner rather than later!

thank you for all the info! i will ring omlet tomorrow! fingers crossed that it will be a little shorter than 4 weeks as i already have my coop, feed , drinkers etc !

That's not too long to wait then, but you are already set up? Are you also getting an eglu or just the chickens to fill your existing coop? I did consider getting mine from Omlet as they seem like nice hybrids but decided to go to a local supplier in the end as wanted the chickens to have as short a journey as possible. As it turns out we are only 15 mins from the farm and my two go back there for their holidays!!! Anyway, I expect you will feel nervous and excited. I did when I got mine in July and used to keep going out to check on them, now I can't believe how tame they have become and how relaxed I feel being around them. Already want some more!!!
