Locked myself out this pm - back door was open - so popped next door and asked to scale her wall. The wall was chest height to me (5ft9inches) but some bricks missing. Attacked by brambles - got on top - got stuck - but wiggled along on my bum an managed to get off with no injury. Cat sat and watched with much interest. I am scratched all up my arms and look bedraggled. Bought back memories of childhood when I jumped off my grans wall and left the skin of my thighs on the wall. I had that horrid sick feeling you get. I also found a bug in my hair - hysteria whilst I removed it

Not sure I could scale much over about 4 foot, although being 5'3" now and considerably smaller aged 11, for some reason it was thought a good idea if I represented my school House in the high jump

Yes at 49 I think my days of wall climbing may be near an end. Stiles and gates - no problem - walls - think may leave to the youngsters - I have no spring at all.
