abwsco
DH was going to get some pallets from work to make one BUT they've had a new machine delivered and he's rung me all excited as there's a pallet combo that's ready made. All we need to do is timber treat it and bung a roof on it

Olly
Ooh, let's have a picture! My log store is built out of s"Ooops, word censored!" wood, but it's inside the garage so doesn't need roofing.
abwsco
It's not here yet. Going to get it delivered tomorrow and then treated. DH says it's a crate though which is not what I thought it was so hope that will be OK
abwsco
Had a girly strop and told DH I wasn't haven't a crate log store. It has to be stood up on it's end. I won We've timber treated it in our job lot of cack brown and it's currently in the garage drying. Will have legs put on it tomorrow and then be put in situ. Just need loads more wood to fill it and of course the woodburner

The Dogmother
Oooo, that's lovely! I need a roofed one - my woodpile runs across the bottom of the garden and has a base of pallets. I have loads more pallets this year and am going to make a retaining 'fence' to keep it tidier.
abwsco
Thanks both I've rearranged the wood this morning so it's neater Also told DH to see if there's another crate going free at work as it could go in the garage or outside where our tomatoes have been. lillybettybabs
That looks great, I keep nagging at OH that we need something better than his Steptoe and Son heap at the side of the front drive (along with three sack barrows, if anyone wants one). The Dogmother
I wouldn't worry K, my garden looks like a timber yard at the moment the builders up the road came round this morning and offered me 3 more pallets too... I couldn't say no, could I?
