I don't know if Omlet are open today for you to ring and ask, but I ordered a WIR yesterday and it will be here on Wednesday ... so maybe not too long for you? Someone will probably be along in a minute who has got one recently and might be able to advise you specifically on the Cube.

Think it can vary depending on what they have in stock 'cos they need to build them to check before they go out

Also will depend if its being delivered or couriered, if they have a van going near you etc

 

Best thing to do is give them a ring in the morning to find out

Had a phone call and it will be delivered on Thursday Tres excited Now need to see what alterations need to be done to the run so it will all fit snugly.

Ooooo not long to wait so excited for you,still stand in the garden staring at my pretty cube (sooooooo sad) still only had it since friday so not long,only thing is now theres so much room inside I think I need a few more big girls to fill it out

that is my worry I think the excess of eggs we currently have with our 4 is enough incentive to stop us getting any more though.

I dont have a problem of eggs building up with 5 kids and friends always asking for a box of eggs if anything I need some more eggs every day,I think thats a good enough reason to aqquire some more girls

Good news!!

It is here! We didn't even have to put it together as the delivery chap did it for us

We have a bit more jigging to do to get it to how we want it, but its looking good already.

The hole under the nest box bit is rather large so I have covered it with some paper to stop the hemcore disappearing. Cinnamon mentioned about doing something with an old plastic milk bottle so I shall look into that more at a later date.

 

I am pleased with the colour and now its in place not too overwhelmed by the size. Our only disappointment I think is the finish isn't as good as I thought it would be, and the lid pokes up a bit higher on one side of the roof than the other. Hopefully it won't affect its performance, but I shall wait and see.

mine pokes up one side a bit more than the other and it rained alot here last night and the girls were dry and warm this morning when I let them out,also one side of the cube when you look at it from the back has a bit of a wider gap than the other but again not a drop of rain got in so Im very happy that my girls will by dry all winter.
