AlisonH
I'm very confused, every time I read about worming it says to do it at different intervals - I was under the impression it should be once a year but I went on a chicken course the other week and they said one a month. can anyone give me the definitive answers?? Egluntyne
Herbal supplements, which are preventatives, are recommended to be used monthly. Flubenvet which is the only wormer licensed for use on poultry in the UK is the one which could be used annually, or more often. I do mine every 4 months as they roam on the same ground. If you can move them onto fresh land and allow the used area to rest for 3 months or more, you can worm them less often.
The Dogmother
I always recommend to worm them quarterly to keep them in top condition.
LolaLayla
This has reminded me that about 3 months has passed since the girls were wormed. So I've phoned Marriages and the medicated pellets are on their way
