Midnight in Paris

Recommended Posts

Just to say I went to see this at the weekend and found it to be an absolute pearl! It is a very gentle beautifully captured and sensitively acted bit of escapism which makes you forget the real world for a couple of hours with some giggles along the way; with Paris as the background and Owen Wilson in the foreground, how could it not appeal??? I recommend it to all romantics who would like to suspend reality for a while!

All i have ever wanted was to see Paris by moonlight...for real.

I saved really hard and OH really hates france, but said if we went to Paris we had to go diving in Malta..OK i said .

So i saved a lot more.We came home to UK on leave and YD leaned on her bedroom window and it nearly fell out. Needless to say i had the house double glazed with the money saved for our trips. I used to point at room windows and say boat trip on the seine, diving in Malta, MIDNIGHT in Paris. :boohoo::boohoo:

Sooo every time i hear or see Midnight in Paris this is all i think of.:lol:

Sorry .

Just so you know I am still waiting to go to Paris with OH, i doubt we will ever go.

Saw it last week, and it was really good! Don't you think Owen Wilson had virtually turned into Woody Allen by the end?

Angie! You have to go. Not only is Paris a lovely city, it's your dream to go! Plan to go around a full moon, especially in Autumn, isn't that when the moon is lower on the horizon so appears bigger anyway? Or go the first weekend in October for Nuit Blanche. I was in Paris for Nuit Blanche this year but sadly slept through the events! I saw pictures of Sacre Coeur surrounded by candles, very pretty.

I'd like to see this movie for it's scenery alone. x
