Unsecure chicken perches

our chickens had their first day out today of the run today !!

 

they had a great time and harvey helped round them up at the end of the day!

Great pictures they looked like they had a great time ,my dog (a staffie) wont go near my girls as Tikka(top girl) has told him off a few times with a peck on the nose.

the 'ginger' ones are aggie and gladys which are goldlines and still laying everyday

the black and white, mabel is a light sussex

the all white is connie and no-one has a clue what she is

the cockeral is major who is a blue laced red wyandotte

the dog is harvey our big black labrador who follows them round constantly!

Lovely pictures, just had to laugh at your dog following in hot on their heels, are they keeping him in check? My girls bully my (and everyone elses) cats, so funny.

no he just follows them round, watching very carefully!! but helps round them up when need be - mind you he hasnt had a peck on the nose yet - so things might change!!!

 

our other labrador isnt bothered at all either and as long as they dont go near her bone she wont make an effort!!!!
