Unsecure chicken perches

[House MD 221B]

I was going to spruce up the desktop with a nice seasonal wallpaper... I fancied something with chickens on it so I googled:

 

"Christmas Chicken"

 

Hoping for perhaps some santa hats photoshopped onto chickens, or even just some chickens scratching around in snow would have done nicely.

 

How naive I am,

 

They were all in roasting trays marinated in every sauce you could think of. Feeling a little bit foolish for expecting anything different given the context, but still it made my wife and I smile and I though my foolishness might make someone else smile

I'm guilty of similar. If I'm in the supermarket and I hear someone mention chickens I automatically think 'ooh, another chook keeper' - then I realise I'm stood near the chill section and they are talking about their sunday dinner

.Oh I have done that ..This morning 2 small girls near me came to see my chickens and one who was about 3 said "I like chips with my chiucken nuggets "
