craftyhunnypie
Well it is now countdown to my sister's wedding on Saturday 23rd. Have been studying the weather forecasts like a hawk & although it has said a lot of showers & rain this week, it is clearing Friday afternoon & given a good weekend and a good week after the 24th. So fingers crossed. The men tried their top hats & tails on today and we cried. What are we like??? Have done the last few order of services ( made on the kitchen table). I've made her a decorated wooden spoon and burnished their names on it with a wood burner. Got to make the table name signs and some signs for the ends of the lane warning of the horse & carriage & Limo. It's such a narrow lane I am really wondering how a flaming limo will get down there??? It's all really nerve racking stuff at the mo & we are all at church practice on Thursday night, so we know what we're doing. Marquee starting to go up tomorrow. Got to paint the milk churns ready for the floral decorations for the marquee & got to make a Tutu for her jack russel dog ' Pegs'. It'll all be worth the stress - I just hope the weather is good & I don't collapse with exhaustion! Emma.x

craftyhunnypie
ooooo definitely!!!!!!! I might not get round to piccy's until the Monday night as we are stopping over until Sunday evening - even tho it's only about 12 mile away! We're taking our caravan & parking it in the tractor shed ! he he Must remind hubby not to take a picture of me delving into the choccy fountain!!!! ( try pulling me away from it). mmmmm mmm mmmmmm! Got to find my best singing voice for Saturday as I'll be a bit too near the vicar to be able to mime like I normally do! Emma.x

craftyhunnypie
I know, I know But darling sister wants her doggie to join in later in the evening, when she's allowed a sneaky peep into the goings on in the marquee ( all of 10 minutes). feemcg
Sounds like you're going to be busy Emma! I came back this afternoon from Myres Castle in Fife - wee Anna was a bridesmaid at her aunt's wedding yesterday. It was such a beautiful setting but it was cloudy with drizzly rain so we didn't get out in the gardens yesterday, but today we had a barbecue with tables all set round the pond and it stayed dry and warm. Back to the real world now . Hope all your preparations go smoothly .
