Egluntyne
Re the high winds in her part of the world. I nearly inhaled my curry when her name was mentioned!
Looney
Oooh! Fame! Did she manage to mention chickens?!
Egluntyne
The presenter, our very own Harry Gration, mentioned that the roof of her chicken coop had blown away.
Omletina Kyckling
I missed it!!! Mum sent me a text saying she'd heard it and nearly spluttered her tea everywhere! I put a status on Facebook on Look North thread and they must have picked up on it! My run is looking very sad without it's roof! Just glad my hens weren't there as they've been happily rehomed due to Mr Fox or Ferret!!
Plum
Bet you get lots of hunky Yorkshiremen round to mend your roof and look for your chickens. You could keep them there for days
Daphne
I was thinking of all you Northern omleteers as even down here we had pretty severe gusts. I was out all day yesterday and got back late to shut the birds up. In the dark I noticed one of their food bowls wasn't where I left it, but this morning I realised the whole eglu run had moved It wasn't pegged down
