Willow
Got back from a 2 week holiday this morning to find our next door neighbour down the end of the garden talking to the chickens as he let them out to free range He's been letting them out every day and putting them away every night so that they aren't shut up in the run. Especially good of him as right now none of them are laying eggs so he hasn't even had the compensation of fresh laid eggs.

Luvachicken
Gosh, where do you live ??????????? None of my neighbours are like that I think it's time to move house. Did you get your neighbour a nice holiday souvenir ?
Barkisland
Bless him! He's smitten - he'll be getting a few of his own next, you watch!
Rosey Supposey
Ah ha! They got him! Good and proper! What a lovely neighbour to have. I daren't even ask mine, even if I offered them the eggs! My chooks have caught my mum though. She pretty much hates chickens (bad experience in her youth) but she asked me today "When can I start buying treats for the hens? When are they allowed to have them?". Chickens...they get you!
