Lavenders_Blue Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 I don't know if any of you are into dog magazines, but if you are a reader of Dogs Monthly then you may have spotted an article in the January edition about dogs and chickens which features a rather gorgeous rescue terrier crossbreed... yes it's my lovely girl Tango! Our dog trainer writes for the magazine and asked, some months ago, if he could come round and take some photos so that he could put together an article for the magazine about introducing dogs to chickens. It was published in this month's edition and there's a big photo of me, hubby and Tango (it's true folks - the camera really does add 10lbs ), a small photo of Tango straining at the lead to try and get to the hens and then an article all about her progress, albeit very slow progress, and some training tips and ideas on how to encourage your dogs and hens to get along nicely, or at least, not get eaten! Ooh, I could try but that sounds a bit technical I'll give it a go tomorrow when I have my work computer with scanner/printer gubbins thingy switched on.
