Went to their HQ today....it is only half an hour away.

Fascinating.....it is in an old mining village called Morton...blink and you miss it.

I bought some more raised beds and some of ....these....

They are fab and dead easy to put together.....and for a fiver each you can't go wrong.

Its a lovely company, the staff greeted me like a long lost relative and couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.

I got a chance to look at the "showroom" and saw the compost bin. It's enormous. I rather think I might save up for one.

They look useful :D

Thats just what I need over my carrots (covered with fleece) instead of the fleece, bamboo canes and clothes peg contraption I made

I will have to make a visit when I am visting my parents in Nottingham in August. Jack and Natalie always say we never go any where when we are visiting. It will be a day out for them

The excitement of visiting a portacabin on a mini industrial estate might be too much for them.

I'd take them to the cement works instead.

What will you be covering the canopy support with Eglutine? I think I might buy some for my raised beds and cover with plastic to make a polytunnel. Is there a specific grade of polythene one has to buy?

I'm going to get some and make fitted covers using the anti insect fabric - it's name escapes me at the moment  (at least you lot don't get me saying "blue, round, it's over there!" in exasperation  - Carl worked out I meant the hose reel  )

I use it at the moment to cover carrots but I also want to use some over the brassicas - keep the butterflies off.

How high can you stack the linkaboard. I want to make some raised beds for kids in wheelchairs so they can garden too - but they would have to come up to chair height - could I do this with Link - a board - It sounds like a fab idea otherwise.

I think you could but it might be costly.

The compost bin is essentially a stack of 1m boards with a little door at the bottom so it must be do-able.

I've got 2 of their brochures. If you would like me to send you one, pm me.

How did you get on with the canopy supports? I recently bought 2 split-height linkabord beds. They were really easy to assemble but I found the canopies difficult to insert to even heights so that those in the shallower bed were in-line with the deeper bed. In the end I pushed the canopy support poles in the deep beds into the ground. I have fastened netting over and held it in place with pegs but it all looks a bit make shift. It has stood up to recent wind and rain though I`m pleased to say! I ordered mine over the `phone and they arrived amazingly fast. I just hope we get a bit of decent sunshine soon

Yes...mine have stood up to the recent horrible weather.

Could you shove one side in further than the other to even it out?
