Alis girls Posted January 23, 2012 Share Posted January 23, 2012 Elderly patient who needs to be seen at Specsavers ASAP me thinks came in to see me today. Glances at me and says " are you pregnant?" Now yes I've put on weight over Xmas and had virus so admittedly been a couch potato, however I am the big 50 in less than 2 weeks. Feel miffed that I am a tub and will be starting dieting but slightly chuffed that I look the age (albeit older) to have a baby. I giggled and said no just been pigging out over Christmas. Ain't Nobody Here Posted January 23, 2012 Share Posted January 23, 2012 The only people I tend to get compliments from is the elderly folk in my dad's nursing home (poor eyesight, obviously ). I got "ooh, your dad's lucky to have a daughter like you" today . Not quite sure why she thinks that . I do make a point of saying hello and chatting to them when I can though! Now I work on a checkout & people can only see my top half, I get many more compliments,mostly for my hair,or for looking young,which is really nice.
