Olly Posted January 24, 2012 Share Posted January 24, 2012 Your service provider will usually offer insurance? I think mine is already covered under household, I rang up and checked when I bought it. I strongly recommend getting screen protectors, I bought a pack on Amazon I think, and a silicon case. The man in the shop advised me to get one as he said a lot of people damage theirs because they fall off the table when they vibrate! Cinnamon Posted January 24, 2012 Share Posted January 24, 2012 Just to say that my daughter dropped her 2 month old HTC Desire s last week,totally smashing the screen. It still worked,but the screen was shattered. The insurance had just run out.............. Got a quote for £100 & another for £80,but a quick Google brought up a replacement screen on Amazon,genuine part,for £10,which my husband fitted himself - result!
