bluekarin
I am looking at replacing our tv in our bedroom as 1) we are about to lose the channels when we get digital at the end of this/next month and 2) were after replacing it anyway as it was our original living room telly and very big and has no freeview. So does anyone else have one they'd recommend to me? I would quite like one with built in dvd, but thats not essential. What is is it being thin, have freeview and thats about it I think. Oh, and under £200 if poss. Thank you
The Dogmother
Have you thought about saving money and just getting a freeview box? I have an old 14" colour portable in the living room; it's 20 years old and still going strong, with a freeview box you can get every channel if you want to watch them. bluekarin
I have, but our current one is an old cube shaped tv. Uses loads of power which newer ones don't, so would be more efficient. Are the freeview boxers much better than they used to be as we have one which we bought around when they first came out and it was rubbish. Programmes kept freezing up
TAJ
We have a cheap Bush telly from Argos in the bedroom - Freeview built in, plus DVD player and an I-pod dock on it - it's been going strong for a couple of years now without any issues - was under £200. Gertie
I have an LG ordinary flatscreen TV which has freeview built in. It's got great picture & it's very light to move. Think it was from currys & was best deal at the time about a year ago. Think it was about £300 for 32 inch
Snowy
The Co-op (Midlands) are selling 32" flat screen TVs with built in DVD and freeview for £199. They also recently had 22" screens for £129.
Geoid
This has everything you are after, although it is quite large (22 inches), but at that price it is a really good deal.
bluekarin
Ooooh I like that one Fred. I was hankering after an LG too as we got ourselves a home cinema system for the living room from them and love it. Only thing it doesn't have is dvd player, but the usb connection will probably be better in the long run. I shall see what other people rate it like and then will probably go for it. What are ebuyer like as a company?
Geoid
Ebuyer are an excellent company, prompt delivery, easy to return if something goes wrong.
