Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

Does anyone personalise their egg boxes? I am thinking of doing a few and looking for inspiration. Was considering polka dots and a bow etc... Just thought if anyone had already done some we could post photos and inspire everyone into making some themselves.....

I started off five years ago by printing carefully designed labels for my egg-boxes.

 

These days, I just recycle old boxes that I get given by friends - I don't always get round to ripping off the Te$co labels sometimes! It's nice to have a smart box if you are giving them away as a present, but I found the effort and cost of producing labels wasn't worth it, personally.

I think its just about making that bit of effort for a special gift - with mothers day coming up! I am going to look at making up some easy boxes - with a potato stamp - the kids will love it! Bound to keep them quiet for an hour over Easter hols.

Hi Bev! Some lovely ideas there. I have a few personalised boxes that go to certain regular buyers who always buy eggs from me at school. They tend to keep the same boxes and so I rarely have one at home as it gets refilled. I went with a pic of some of my girls and the logo Derby House Eggs (house name).

At first I bought lovely coloured egg boxes. But after having none returned I started requesting used egg boxes from neighbours & friends. We got lots. The ones from caged birds go straight in the recycle bin - yukky yukky things!

Any we use, get the labels pulled off & I rubber stamp a chicken on them. I feel it's enough!

I have BHWT labels and took the time to write some info on them. I havent had any of those back and considering i was bursting at the seams with egg boxes i have almost completely run out People have not been returning them

Had a lovely time with the kids decorating some boxes - will post photos when I learn how! - We did union jack design, fried egg, hearts and daisies... once we got the hang of it - it was great fun - kids are now considering running a competition with friends on decorating egg boxes! Kept them occupied for hours without a single complaint! Superb on a rainy day.
