Charlottechicken
I've just been given the first issue of a cake decorating magazine by mum, it has great freebies on the front and the first issue is only 99p. It is a part works so will cost an arm and a leg if you want to collect the lot (specially as it is weekly ), but the first issue has a free pink gingham cardboard cupcake stand, some pink decorating glitter and two pink metal butterfly cutters attached to the front. My only complaint is that my cupcake stand is not fluted around the edges like the one in the picture Here's the website! There's cake recipes in it too, plus tips and lots of ideas. bluekarin
I saw the ad for this yesterday. Looks really good. love the butterflies and how you make them look like they are 3D. I will have a look and hope somewhere has some left
AndreaT
I bought it on Saturday even though I promised myself I wouldn't! I also promised myself that I would only buy the first one because it will cost soooo much to buy it every week but.....I saw the bits you get next week and the week after and I am tempted! I have no will power
LolaLayla
Ooh 99p I think I will look out for that (I quite often buy the first of these types of mags but am too mean to buy the rest ). Thanks for posting
bluekarin
I bought a copy today. Very pleased with what you get. Apart from the fact the glitter isn't edible!
craftyhunnypie
I looked everywhere for it - no luck. My last resort is WHSmith in Aber tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I also thought the glitter would be edible - shame! Going to look on website now - to see what other goodies are coming up & will decide then if I'll buy any more copies. LolaLayla
Oh no. I had hoped to look for it today, but it sounds as if it may be a problem Just an update to the post-I managed to get it at W H Smiths
craftyhunnypie
Missed issue 1, but managed to get issue 2 from our village shop!!! It's the issue with the piping set. Will study to see if I'll be buying any more or not. Emma.x
LolaLayla
How much was the 2nd one? If you want to get the first one and you think it would be cheaper for me to you get one (if still available), dismantle it and post it on, rather than get it from publishers, I could. scubababe
I admit it...I'm an addict I've taken out the subscription...but scchhhhhhhh don't tell my hubby
craftyhunnypie
Don't worry scubbabe - I'm thinking about it too. Some of those piping nozzles are great & the tools look good too. I know the price of most of these things, as I was a Saturday girl in the cake decorating shop. Yes I know how to decorate cakes, but I'm liking the free stuff with these mags! I'm going to make the blossom cake for Easter. Only because I've still got a Delia Xmas cake kit !! Emma.x
scubababe
That was my thought process My hubby says my cakes are amazing...but I would like to learn new skills and bring my cakes up to the next level...plus I need new piping bags
