not enough chickens
some times i do wonder ......... yesterday i came home from work, and let them all free range as usual , went in the house for some tea and a shower, boyfriend comes home some time later , " er we haver a massive problem you need to come outside " , thinking hes over reacting as usual i was in no great rush , well............ the day before my boyfriend had drained all the oil out of my vw beetle engine, into a cat litter tray thing , and clevely left it on the floor in our lean 2 shed all be granted, the chooks next t never go in there , well yesterday they did , nugget and tikka thought it would be a good idea to have a bath in this, , they where un recongnisable , i spent from 6 till quater t 11 that night bathing them in a fairy liquid / bubble bath solution , several times over, for a total of 6 times each, it was getting late and i had to be up early for work, so wrapped them up in a towel n plonked um next to the radiator, , came home today after work, and a further 3 baths each, seems to have done the job, deary me, what are they like, any one else had shall i say adventureous chooks
Chucky Mama
Oh dear, I hope that they are OK. I used to bathe the birds that had been oiled by oil spills on beaches and they lost a lot of feathers afterwards. Hopefully yours didn't get too much of a soaking and didn't swallow any. I agree though, they can be amazingly silly sometimes
