Gelbel
I put my ideas to paper and costed them all out last May. Some of the timber was brought with my bonus in August. The frame was knocked up over the Christmas/New Year holiday. But good things come to those who wait. May I present my, long awaited for, WIR. There are still a couple of bits to finish as the weather beat us on Sunday & Monday and the coop needs a new roof. That will be done next Sunday. It's 9' x 7' and about 6'2" to 6' tall. The pop hole is facing away from us - but has a lovely home made (by me) ladder which also acts as perches. From the left Phyllis (who jumped on my head when I bent over to place a new glug on the wire), Bea(who jumped on my back at the same time) Madge (at the front), Edwina (who jumped on my knee when I crouched to give her a stroke) & Rowena.
