I've been wanting more chickens for a while and I have finnally found somewhere i can get some more chickens

I'm hopefully getting them on saturday. One white sebright and one partridge pekin.

Has anyone got any of these breeds and any advice thanks

Great news it's such fun choosing them.

 

I've got a pekin and advice would be buy some ear plugs she's very cute and I've not had any trouble with her little feathery feet but she has got a squawk when she wants other times she sounds like a guinea pig. Smashing character and lovely little eggs she occasionally gifts to us. She's a gem

 

So advice would be to check the legs for mites and mudballs.

thanks the noise wont be a problem as we have a big garden. Will they be alright with my 2 silkies

She's very good natured and best buddies with my little buff orp who wouldn't say boo to a goose.

Oooh lovely Tomorrow's the big day then My Pekins Pumpkin and Humbug are sweet little girls and not noisy Look forward to hearing all about your newbies and seeing some pics

We rung up the place we were going to get them from but they only had OEG bantams so we have tried some where else and we are waiting for them to reply but the plus side I've got silkies hatching Tuesday

Okay I've found where I'm getting them from a frizzle and a millefleur they will be mine on Saturday
