Its worth googling, I have heard a few reports of it not working and the failure being blamed on every reason under the sun - it seems that the requirements for its success are quite exacting

That's worth bearing in mind as the product is not cheap.

My only thought is that with biological control it is logical that you never get rid of all the mites, otherwise there would be nothing for the predator to eat. Or, even if the predators did eat all of the mites, they will then die and you can get a reinfestation. I would expect that it keeps the red mite numbers down but does not eradicate them.

I think I remember being told that they have to be kept at a certain temperature and used within a small window of opportunity too.

I agree - Love My CUBE!! . It's like everything else though, hard work and a good thorough brush out is really the only way to go. Just got another 5ltr of poultryshield and hempbedding...........just need a dry day to make a start
