My OH went to Whipsnade zoo today with DD and the granchildren and in one of the show/demontrations out trooped Six LF silver silkies which they have hatched and have been training the one suspected of being a Rooster refused to participate and wandered off much to the amusement of everyone OH said they were as big as my but he didnt think to take a picture Bother

Mine are LF but obvious the brain is still teeny They still lay on the bars which is annoying as I have put in a roll away nest box due to magpies stealing eggs. Can anyone train them to use the box

I have never seen LF silkies could you post a picture I would love to see what they look like in Large

It takes me ages to put photos on as I am not a technical person however I did post some on my thread 'Silkies - so excited!' If you do a search you should be able to have a look at them there. You can see their size compared to the eglu and also next to my hybrid while they were dust bathing They are not much smaller than the hybrids but do get bullied quite a lot even given their size. Also my other girls are Einsteins in comparison
