Not content with finding a wasps nest in our old summer house, LSH has now found a White Tailed Bumblebee nest under the floorboards !! Work is very slow now as dozens of bees come buzzing out everytime he tries to do any more demolition . We're determined to keep the bees safe and not harm them in any way.

Wow! Bees are fascinating little creatures - and so industrious!

 

We have a couple of Red Mason Bee nesters in the garden and can spend ages just watching them at work.

Why don't you try & contact someone from a bee society - they will safely remove them. A friend of mine is a bee keeper / bee inspector - I could ask him for a contact near you if you would like me to?

We bought a bumble bee house to encourage them in the garden.

 

They are obviously not impressed with it as its still empty after two years.

 

I love bees, hate wasps.
