Luvachicken
This is a pic of my chicks at about 13 weeks old. They really love their night time cuddles. We start at 7.30 ish where I get Penny first - she is the easiest to catch. She gets comfy on my lap and the others gradually hop on the bar of the rabbit run and get picked up from there. They all snuggle together and make sweet little noises and use each others feathers as beak snuggles. They have grown really fast but still have a look of chick about them. I love them to bits. Luvachicken
That is so cute that they like to cuddle on your lap! I want to get my chooks to do that! I try and do it every night, and of course I have had them since they were about 6 weeks old. I will definitely get chicks like that again in the future. Chortle Chook
Oh they are so lovely, but you won't be able to get any more because they wouldn't all fit on your lap . . . .unless you get a whole lot bigger. Now there's a reason for cake
Isobel
They're fine chappies/chappesses! Do you actually know what sex the are? I have some the same age (not as cuddly but hilariously funny, it's been such an eye opener watching them grow up and leave home and set up on their own in the teenager's coop where they have a rave every night now mother is not there to beak their bottoms when they misbehave!). But I cannot tell which are boys and which are girls apart from one that is getting a mane and is taller and aggressive! Anything to look out for in particular?
