lillybettybabs
Has anyone used the No No hair removing system?
merlina
no, but a friend has and only has bad, unprintable, things to say about it! The reviews on Amazon are worth looking at (which is what I did when I was considering and decided against)
Lavenders_Blue
I also looked into it recently and there did seem to be an awful lot of bad reviews which put me off. Especially the comments about the smell of singed/burning hair! However... I suppose there's nothing to lose with the money back guarantee trial period advertised on the TV. lillybettybabs
The reviews put me off a but then there are some good ones too which makes me think about user error?
abwsco
Mixed reviews on shopping telly as well and not sure I'd want to use something that just burns the hair off..........
merlina
It's supposed to damage the follicle (when the hair is in its active growing phase), but aforementioned friend persevered and found almost no difference to regrowth (fair skinned, not especially thick hair). She's had a baby so wanted something that would help save time in the long run. She spent every evening with it for a long time but no dice
lillybettybabs
Sounds like a big No No then!
craftyhunnypie
I've wondered about this machine. I've also wondered about the laser machines too. Personally, I think I'll try an epilator first! Although, would like to hear a bit more about the machines I've mentioned. Emma.x
Lavenders_Blue
Epilators - OUCH OUCH OUCH! I do have one and I do use it from time to time....... but, OUCH! It basically tweezes your hairs out one at a time, although quickly of course. I tend to use it if I've waxed my legs just to catch the hairs that the waxing has missed. But then I find waxing such a faff that I don't really do this very often!
lillybettybabs
i have a laser thing but the laser end is so small it takes hours to do one leg so i have only used it for eyebrows etc. The No No looked like a answer but sounds as if it is just as much faffing anyway. Oh well
The Dogmother
Not seen this Karen, but I've given up on hair removing gadgets and just shave my legs every night; takes moments and works for me.
craftyhunnypie
Same here dogmother, but I really don't like shaving! Creams are good, but stink & cost quite a bit. Plus only keeps it away as much as shaving would. Arrrgh why do I have to be dark haired & have polycystic syndrome too, which doesn't help with the hair side of things! It used to bother me & believe me I've tried allsorts. But yep, shaving it has to be for quickness & cost. Emma.x
Lavenders_Blue
Ooh goodness, I tried hair removal cream once - never again! It removed the hair beautifully, unfotunately also gave me horrendous acid burn And I didn't leave it on for that long either. Regular shaving for me too, as much of a nuisance as it is. Yorkshire Pudding
I can't find a solution to this one. Shaving irritates my skin terribly, creams left me with chemical burns. Waxing works but I get ingrowing hairs afterwards. I'm looking forward to winter when trousers & thick tights will mean I can ignore it for a few months! Olly
Must admit that I hardly ever bother these days - I usually wear long skirts/trousers even in summer as I have varicose veins which I don't like to show. I'm spending the day with friends who have a hot tub today, so I will probably whisk the razor over quickly in case anyone thinks King Kong is climbing into the tub with them! I have got an epilator - if you use it really regularly it's ok, because you're only taking a few hairs out each time but if you let things slide, it's rather painful which is why I won't be using it today. And I can't use creams because my skin always reacts badly to them. Never heard of the No No, and don't think I'll be looking for it after the above!
