Caroline Posted July 21, 2007 Share Posted July 21, 2007 my chickens and duck are perfect friends these days! they hang out together quite happily. When we had the drake, they were a bit less pally but they spend most of the day together now. The duck is sitting on eggs at the moment and when she gets up in the morning for food and a swim, the chickens rush in and lay in her nest! I have to sneak the eggs back out while she's not looking or she sits on the lot!!! We had a children's plastic paddling pool until hubby built the rill and they were more than happy bobbing on that.
