We have just "found" Dexter and absolutely loved it but were a bit lost over some things so have just bought the first five series to watch on cold winter nights.

I looooovvvvvveeee Dexter!!! No one I know watches it so can never talk about it apart from with the OH but that doesn't count! Also love Burn Notice, but again no one else watches it and its brilliant! Xx

Gutted to find out today that the actor who plays Dexter has been battling cancer,& has split from his wife,who plays Deb.

Big Dexter fan here too...but no-one I know watches it either! The storylines are so complex and the acting is amazing...and I do like a bit of Michael C Hall too

 

I can highly recommend the books the series was originally based on as well, really good writing.

Ooh what's Burn Notice? I think we were the only people in Norfolk who watched Breaking Bad as well...I used to go into work raving about it and everyone would just look at me blankly

OMG, we've also seen the first episodes of the latest Breaking Bad but of course there's now an ages wait until they start showing it again. Also started watching the latest Boardwalk Empire but I don't enjoy that as much.

Hi superkitty. So frustrating to want to discuss plots, what might happen next and of course if there's a good looking chap in it too and no one else watches! Burn notice is about an ex spy, his girlfriend and friend. There's a story always running through cos he's trying to find out who got him 'burned' but each week is a different story as they help people in need (bit like A-team from the '80s, but good!). Set in sunny miami just like dexter. Lots of wit, explosions and likeable characters. Not sure i've made it sound any good but I love it! There's so much good stuff on those alternative channels. White collar is another one coming back to alibi in october. So much to watch... So little time!!! Xx

Yes, sky + is a dangerous thing...I have enough to sit and watch tv for MONTHS if I ever had the time will have to have a look at Burn Notice then
