good_egg
I thought I would give my girls a treat and some entertainment as they aren't getting to FR much with the short days and Mr Fox paying our neighbours a visit. So I bought a cabbage, stuck (hammered) a run peg into it and suspended it from the roof of the cube run. Much chatter was coming from the house, presumably demands to be let out as I was taking too long! But when I opened the door the horror on their wee chicken faces Two refused to come out, the other two went straight under the house! They have all been fighting over the grub furthest away from the scary cabbage and are running past it, then staring! Very funny to watch, if a little cruel! Hope someone gets brave and pecks it soon, although then it will swing about so that'll cause more chaos!
Lavenders_Blue
Ahh bless them, I am sure they'll pluck up courage soon enough!

good_egg
OH let them out to FR for a bit and they wouldn't go back in run until he removed cabbage!

Luvachicken
A wiggly pink finger might work I did this over a cabbage they didn't seem to like, and they suddenly got very interested.
suebee
I tried hanging a net bag for my lot, with their fave veg in it, to try to slow them down a bit. After initial terror, one of them dared take a peck at the veg inside... Naturally, she sent it swinging, which sent them all flying! I expect, yours'll get used to suspended goodies, unless - like mine - they don't like cabbage
