That is so lovely. I'm just starting to take crafting seriously and would love to make one of those. Is it fabric bows on a wreath, does it involve lots of sewing? It's gorgeous.

Very pretty! Actually thinking about it I have some wicker wreaths in circle and star shapes that would look fab doing the same thing. I take it you just tied on the strips of fabric?

I used two old bed sheets and dyed one purple,Florist wire rings and some glitter ribbon. I ripped (for that shabby look)the fabric into 1 and 2inch strips and into different lengths. tied onto the wire using single and double knots so the fabric went into different direction.

I made one a few weeks back. I painstakingly cut my strips of fabric with pinking shears. I used some tartan & teddy bears fabric I'd had a good while. They take lots of fabric don't they? Or perhaps it was me being too paticular. He he Mine is jollying up our horrid green old front door. I can't wait to have new windows & doors here!

Lovely. The colours are very autumnal, so you could put it up at Halloween next year, and leave it up. The teddy has a cute face.

Erm - the teddy is called Stephanie - just don't ask, as we have a little collection that we prank about with. Yes I think I will put it up early next year around October! Good thinking Egluntyne.
