charly1979
Had to chuckle after I had sorted the situation out .... I came back from shopping as I wasin the kitchen the hubby is moaning how Kanga one of our cats had attempted to claw our new sofa (yes he is right to moan and I agree with him) anyway about 10 minutes later I could hear a cat trying to get in through the cat flap, it was dear old Kanga, she will be 12 the year and struggles sometimes with the cat flap (not age realated she is just a bit thick, and if they hadnt allowed a tom cat in to urinate everywhere they wouldnt need a magnet collar) Im stood in the kitchen saying 'awwwwwwwwww poor ol Kanga can you not get in ??' to which the hubby looks over quite proudly 'Ive locked her out for scratching the sofa' I promptly told him to unlock it !! he bends down and as he is doing so says 'See this is what you get when you are naughty, dont do it again ' really dont think you can reason with a cat in such a way espcially a 12 yr old one ............. Kanga Chilling on Christmas day and no matter how much hubby protests he does love them as he was giving her and Eyore turkey tit bits as he was carving !! LottyJ1
'See this is what you get when you are naughty, dont do it again ' I wish you could! I have one who claws the sofa or chair to get attention - no matter how much we shout at him he will do it again and again! He will do it the most when he thinks it supper time! little swine! and will look at you while doing it!
charly1979
Got to love em hey ! and the husbands too Ours are both torties so we have the classic tortie behaviour the moment something upsets the balance and Kanga is sent into piddle frenzy doing it as and where she pleases ! They are both sending me do lally well more then I normally am! they are constantly after food but when I go to feed them the bowl on the left hand side is full, they just wont eat from it .. As for the scratching and clawing grrrrrrrrrrrrrr why why why mind you mine are put out that I have got rid of the carpet in the lounge, and the two favorite rugs that used to get a daily scratch have been moved, one to my ED's room which as im convinced has squatters, a dead tramp, some glastonbury festival revellers living in there and is the mess it up's fairies base, it wont matter if the cat adds to the chaos

charly1979
They drive me round the bend but I love them to bits We had Eyore (the puddy in my avator) stolen for over a year we knew where she was but the people wouldnt stop feeding her it broke my heart as she has always been at my side espcially after every operation I have had but shes been back now for over 2 years and the other people have a new cat (typically a cat who stalks my chickens) What cracks me up is that Rich my hubby isnt too bothered by them one bit, he did show loads of concern when Eyore was knocked over many moons ago but thats it, anyway Eyore wanders in a sits on his lap and lavishes him with attention much to his protest I sit there saying awww you loving your daddy, to which he promptly tells me they arent his cats blah blah blah but he still makes sure boths cats, rats and chickens all get me mothers day presents, birthday and christmas so he clearly does have some conection with them (hilarous hearing him with the kids trying to recall all 11 names)

Alis girls
I had a cat identical to yours with the Brindle coat. OH sits in bed in the morning with his cuppa and hisssssses loudly at our tabby recking the stair carpet. Funny thing was on New Years day we went to ES'sfriends mums house for tea and their stair carpet was wrecked like ours. Just like home aaah
