I have an opportunity to go to see Macbeth,on my birthday

 

Can anyone tell me which seat level to go for - I don't fancy the standing area,but one of the tiers.

Whatever you decide, make sure you have a cushion.

We used to do 17th cent re enactment as a hobby before we had the junior dragons and, tho we didn't make it to the Globe some of our costumed freinds did and raved about it! Go for it -the experience is,by all accounts, fantastic!

My friend went last year with her daughter and nieces and they were in the standing area. It was a long time standing t she said it was brilliant as you are involved in the action. I would love to go

It's great but yes go for the seats and take a cushion and a blanket.

I have been and loved it! I was in the seats, but for 'seats' read 'bench'. You can hire a cushion-y back support thingy there (or you could when I went) or as others say, take a cushion. I didn't and I was pretty fidgety by the end! The standing area actually looks quite fun - the actors get involved with the audience and they heckle each other which is brill! But you would be on your feet for quite some time and also open to the elements if it rains.
