How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Hi everyone,

 

I'm just wondering when I should start worming my legbar girls and what doseage? They've just turned 10 weeks and are currently living in the shed pending the final touches to the (hopefully ) fox proofing so they are only eating growers pellets at the moment anyway.

 

Should I be worming them at this age? If so, would the doseage of the flubenvet powder be the same? I usually use the pellets but I don't think they do marriages flubenvet growers pellets, at least I can't find any, so I will order the powder.

 

Or shall i wait until they are at POL and living out in the run?

I think the instructions on the powder says 11 or 12 weeks but if they haven't gone outside yet then they should be OK

I tend to do mine once they start to lay or about 18 weeks which ever is nearer to March and October which is when I try to worm my mob

Ditto, I'd wait until about 18 weeks old and worm them just after you've moved them onto Layers Pellets
