Snowyhen
New here after snooping for quite a while, just thought I'd introduce my flock of feathers. Chickening out and doing a slideshow on youtube for each of the younger lot, then I know only you can see them. Some have fewer pics because they weren't v photogenic in that phase between Chicken and Chick Three nearly five yr old buff sussex hens Along with seven ((Maran x ?) X RIR) i.e dad is half Maran and mum(s) are full RIR- though I'm not even certain about that as they had some of last years hatch (different father) in the flock. We got these from fostering Broody Hens for our friend with the instruction that if the hens could hatch them, we could keep them. Younger lot Russet Coral Snowy II Does Snowy resemble a light Sussex to you (she isn't) Darcy (boy) We're keeping him Older lot Ebony Silver & Copper AKA the Easter pair. Ironic that they're in the same vid because we could never really tell them apart as they grew up and now they're both going to be eaten. Snowyhen
Thanks, I was lucky with that grown up photo, found him and Silver still in the house and bribed him up to the next box. Girls and copper are the hardest- Girls because they're mobbing me for bread, Copper because he just won't be photographed.

Chortle Chook
What beautiful chickens and that is so clever the way you have shown them growing up, from adorable chicks to gauky teenagers to stunning adults. I'm well impressed
Snowyhen
Thanks. Got two eggs from one hen with the slideshows actually, I'd wanted to show them growing up, and I wanted to show you without making them too public. Glad everyone loves them as much as I do.
