Luvachicken
I have a lot of the slippy kind of moss (not the lovely fluffy sort) on our patio. It is quite dangerous when it is wet and I have slipped a few times. Is there a nice way / environmentally friendly way to get rid of the moss or will I have to just scrub it all off with water ? Purplemaniacs
We have green sort of slimy stuff on our slab path not sure if it is a thin layer of moss, it is very slippery when wet and I was wondering how to get rid of it, the path goes along the box hedge so I do not want to use anything that might kill the box. I would like to sort it out as I am worried that someone may slip especially 37 week pregnant DD. Sorry I have no answers hopefully someone will be along in a bit Chrissie
Ain't Nobody Here
Would a power washer do it?
Luvachicken
Would a power washer do it? Probably but I don't have one
Ain't Nobody Here
Best thing I ever bought! Makes short work of cleaning everything in the run (I obviously take it all out first ). OH uses it on his bikes and we clean the car with it too. I use it on the driveway slabs too when they get a bit green. Look out for an offer at B&Q or somewhere, mine is a fairly basic one but is very effective.
Luvachicken
Thanks ANH, I will keep an eye out, but for now, I guess a scrub is the best I can do - on a nice warm day of course
welovemarmite
i read somewhere that soda crystals would do it, but cant remember the details
