Christmas Pressie Ideas

Recommended Posts

It's my policy not to buy any christmas pressies before my birthday which is at the end of this month but any ideas would be appreciated - so if anyone has any good ones please post here specifying: -

the type of recipient e.g. grandmother, and

the present idea e.g. support tights, and

the price e.g. £4.99, and

a link for where you can buy them

By the end of the month hopefully you lot will have complied my christmas pressie shopping list - I can buy them all on line and everything will have been dead easy :wink::wink:

Great idea Red, I'm struggling with inspiration this year too. Officially I don't think about Christmas until after son's birthday (23rd Nov), but in fact I've often got a few bits & pieces secreted about the house. Nothing at all this year

I'll be following this thread closely- maybe I'll get inspiration too

We could end up with identical shopping lists

My ideas so far: a wormery for little sis (someone posted a link in gardening a while back), a little one is around £40

A DVD player for MIL who hasn't caught up with the new technology yet, and enjoys watching films, so we'll get a few DVD's to with it.

A slice of the rainforest for hubby from one of the charity gift idea links.

Middle sis & her daughter leaves to go to Oz early next year, officially to complete her dissertation on aboriginal art, but she's built contacts in NZ, and is hoping to apply for residency there after. She's continually on the breadline, needs everything, but is limited as to what to take with her. I'm stumped

Dan - we'll have to have our own forum party - covering the three days of course! I have a feeling we'll be the only ones attending :( I'll send you a cake :D

Red - there have been quite a few mentions in other topics re Oxfam Unwrapped and World Vision gifts - would any of those be acceptable?

Well, I won't when I do mine :D:shock: I presume that was just for the catalogue :?

You can join the party - it will be from the 25th to 28th December  (I think Dan's is the 25th?) At least Dan gets people to eat and drink on his birthday - people are sick of it all by mine

Well that just means more choccy for you, dear! Don't despair!!

Hmmmm, I'm woriied about your obsession with body parts Lesley!

The cadavers bit I've always been interested in and the body cast thing is thanks to Kooringa and her post about what Trinny and Susanna said about her. I decided I quite like what I've got but at my age they're not going to get any better are they

Only problem is, when I've made my bosom cast - where shall I exhibit it? Behind the bathroom door I think!
