Electric shavers for boys

Recommended Posts

My son aged 14 has been told get a shave boy! So, I am now looking for one. But which one? So many to choose from. I would prefer to only (!) pay about £50 max. I have seen this one which seems to have mostly good reviews, but also some bad ones. Can anyone recommend one their son or hubby uses for him? My hubby has a beard so is of no use on this front, plus when he did shave, it was a wet shave.

I have a similar one, very easy to get a clean shaven face quickly. You can also shave wet (not a feature on all electric razors) which is handy if you have sensitive skin or if you want to shave in the shower.

Don't know if an electric one would work for the first few times when there's not much stubble to cut...

I'd maybe get one of the Gilette ProGlide ones and see how he gets on with it?

Also best to learn(?) to wet shave - it's obviously not hard but some of my friends have never done it aged 21, seems strange to me!

My brother swears by that razor Lewis, he even showed me in in Boots  Sadly my son wants an electric one. I shall see how he goes with probably the one I have mentioned ( unless someone comes up with a gem) and if its no good, I'll get him the wet shave one until he can use the electric at a later date.

My boy (16) wet shaves a couple of times a week, usually when he has more facial hair than his baby faced physics teacher  ....and the one Lewis recommends look familiar..T has recently requested a cut-throat razor  ...and, as ever, has presented a full presentation as to the financial & Eco benefits of such a move :shock::shock:
